Washing / Drying

Curtain Panels
For best results, we recommend spot cleaning. You can hand wash these fabrics with phosphate free detergent in cool or warm water. Some fading as a result of cleaning is typical for these fabrics. This is most notable on darker shades. Fading can be minimized through use of cool water when washing. When hand washing, note that cotton tends to wrinkle significantly when washed.

Line dry.

Ironing: We recommend ironing using standard settings for cotton. Steam may be used to remove wrinkles. We recommend that you iron the reverse side for best results. Mineral deposits in the iron and spraying fabric with a water bottle may cause unexpected staining or marking and should be avoided. IF you iron the front side, use an iron with a light touch on a medium setting only. Higher iron temperatures may result in color transfer, especially on darker colors. **We like to use Downey Wrinkle Release spray!

**The blackout liner we use is very stiff and takes several days hanging before it relaxes for a nice drape.

Cotton Crib Skirts
For best results, we recommend spot cleaning due to the velcro straps. However, they can be machine washed, secure straps first with rubber bands and wash these fabrics with phosphate free detergent in cool or warm water using a gentle or delicate machine cycle. Some fading as a result of cleaning is typical for these fabrics. This is most notable on darker shades. Front loading washers contribute to color loss due to the increased tumbling action during cleaning. Fading can be minimized through use of cool wash settings and gentle wash cycles.

Tumble dry on a low temperature or permanent press setting and remove promptly.

Modern Jersey Sheets and Crib Comforters
For best results, we recommend washing these fabrics with phosphate free detergent in cool or warm water using a gentle or delicate machine cycle. We also suggest washing before use.

Machine dry using a low temperature or permanent press setting and remove promptly to avoid wrinkles.

Ironing:
If required, use an iron with a light touch on a synthetic setting only. Higher iron temperatures may result in color transfer and, in extreme cases, melting of fabric. DO NOT IRON FUR.
